In her advisory role, Guylaine assists clients in developing tax structures to maximize tax refunds or reduce costs. A resolute and creative individual, she is recognized for her avant-garde ideas. Guylaine has been providing training in the municipal sector (Corporation des officiers municipaux agréés du Québec (COMAQ)), as well as in the health care network (for the MSSS) for over 25 years.
She has been instrumental in obtaining tens of millions of dollars in refunds for clients in these sectors. Guylaine has been a guest speaker for finance managers of colleges, universities and hospitals and for municipal treasurers. She also lectures in the Master of Taxation program (indirect taxes) with respect to the public-parapublic sector.
Guylaine has authored two separate reference volumes, one in the municipal sector, published by Wolters Kluwer, and one on the health sector which is posted on the MSSS Web site.
