In 1994, Luis Romero founded Equisoft, a private company specializing in the design and distribution of state-of-the-art digital business solutions for insurance and wealth management companies.
Romero is an IT visionary and has extensive experience in the benefit and financial sectors.

2019 marked the 25th anniversary of Equisoft and, while the company’s core values have not changed since it was founded, Romero has always been able to reinvent Equisoft’s service offering based on the challenges faced by the industries around which the company gravitates.
His qualities as a passionate, innovative entrepreneur who is attentive to the client have greatly contributed to reinforcing clients’ trust in the business.

Developing major partnerships, with Oracle for example, greatly contributed to reaffirming Equisoft’s credibility with shareholders, who did not hesitate to reinvest in the business to penetrate new geographical markets.
Today, Equisoft is considered a partner of choice by more than 50 institutions in 15 countries. The company is also a reputable employer in its industry: it maintains a very high retention rate of 95% thanks to its business culture and dynamism.
