FINALIST 2019

Greg Rokos has been President and CEO of ESI Technologies for the past 25 years. The lessons he has learned throughout his career are what have led him to develop a strategy following four guiding principles:

  • concentration and execution;
  • acceptance of change and tolerance for ambiguity;
  • validation of the company’s financial health to foster agility in the face of business opportunities and economic conditions;
  • ingenuity when making acquisitions.

These principles are pillars that influence both his decision-making and actions.

My leadership style follows three rules: you have to sometimes lead, sometimes follow and sometimes get out of the way.
