The budget season is always a prime opportunity to take a position by inviting governments to adopt certain measures.

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is very proud to have taken part in defending the interests of businesses by, first, recommending economic and tax measures during pre-budget consultations; and,  second, by having not only taken a position after the budgets were tabled but also by having  informed taxpayers through various media outlets.

In addition to the firm’s proposals submitted to the finance ministers of Quebec and Canada in connection with the budgets, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton responded as soon as the budget lock-ups ended. The firm issued press releases and tax bulletins prepared by a team of specialists who attended the Québec City and Ottawa lock-ups (Quebec budget press release, March 17th, federal budget press release, March 22nd).

Additionally, many specialists made observations and demonstrated their tax and financial expertise via several media outlets in various firm network regions.
