A new trend, benching, is gaining popularity in Quebec office development strategies for its ability to promote collaboration and cut costs. In an interview with La Presse, Montréal region Vice-President Michel Noël explains why Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton adopted benching for its offices located at 800 René-Lévesque Blvd. West.
In the article, Michel mentions one of the Firm’s CLEARR values, collaboration, which these new work spaces help promote. He explains, “Accountants are known for being somewhat conservative, but we’ve always encouraged collaboration and openness to give the most to our clients. This type of set-up is a lot more accessible.”
