Once again this year, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton will award one of its clients a $13,750 scholarship to become a entrepreneur athletes of the École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce (EEB). This amount represents half the registration fees for one year in the skills development program dedicated to training of the entrepreneurial succession (a two-year program).

Become one of 25 entrepreneur-athletes!

This financial contribution promotes access to this unique school’s expertise by allowing an entrepreneur, at a lower cost, to be among the 25 entrepreneur athletes who will be trained by renowned entrepreneur-coaches, including Jean Coutu, Gregory Charles, Robert Dutton, Daniel Germain, Alain Lemaire or Isabelle Hudon, to name only a few.

Clients wishing to apply must therefore complete the presentation form and send it to Carole-Anne Dugré, Regional Director, Communications and Business Development, no later than April 30, 2014.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Scholarship, you must:

  • be a client of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton AND
  • be in the process of registration for a first session at École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce (cohort 8) OR already be a first-year entrepreneur-athlete at École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce (cohort 7).
  • Fully complete the presentation form and send it before the deadline

Denise Tessier, Assurance Partner at the Montréal office, was honoured for “leaving her mark on the history” of the Foundation of the Women’s Centre of Montréal, at a first Benefit Evening organized this March 13. This event was an opportunity to pay tribute to Denise Tessier’s impressive contribution to the Foundation as Chair of the Board of Directors and as an active member for the past 18 years. The Foundation supports the activities of the Women’s Centre of Montréal, a non-profit organization with the mission of offering vocational and educational training and guidance services to help women help themselves.

Three other women were also honoured for their important involvement: Esther Bégin (journalist, TV host, blogger and author), spokesperson and volunteer organizer of the Foundation for the past 12 years, and the first two governors in the history of the Foundation of the Women’s Centre of Montréal, Christiane Bergevin of the Mouvement Desjardins and Johanne Lépine of Aon Parizeau & Aon Reed Stenhouse, who have been involved for the past 13 and 12 years respectively.

Congratulations to Denise Tessier for the strength and sustainability of her commitment to the cause of women!
