Business acquisitions as a springboard for growth: that was the topic of a speech delivered by Emilio B. Imbriglio, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s President and Chief Executive Officer, at the annual convention of the Conseil de la transformation alimentaire du Québec (CTAQ).
This key event for food industry leaders, that Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton has partnered with for a number of years, was held in La Malbaie on March 25, 2017. Our team of bio-food specialists was in attendance to talk to the 350 conference participants.
Participants listened attentively as Emilio B. Imbriglio gave an account of the socio-political environment, as well as acquisitions that have been made, in Québec and Canada. Emilio then discussed the key components of a successful acquisition strategy. To conclude his presentation, Emilio was joined by Jean-Pierre Haché, Vice-President – Quality, Health, Safety and Project Office with Bonduelle Amérique du Nord, who was asked to share his experience with the conference participants.
