MONTRÉAL, March 14, 2017 – The time has come to prepare tax returns. Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is proud to offer its 2016-2017 Tax Planning Guide, at no charge, for the 33rd year to assist individuals in preparing their tax returns more efficiently.

“Our firm has always had the success of individuals and dynamic local businesses at heart. In addition to providing them with advice and quality services for almost 70 years, we consider it equally important to constantly deliver key information for their businesses. Our Tax Planning Guide is one such offering. In addition to making tax planning easier, it helps individuals and managers avoid nasty surprises and prepare their tax returns more efficiently,” stated Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton President and CEO, Emilio B. Imbriglio.

“Finding your way around tax measures can be complicated. Our Tax Planning Guide addresses these concerns with clear, summarized information adapted to today’s users,” added Tax Partner, Luc Lacombe.

The Tax Planning Guide is still accessible via a mobile app for an iPhone and iPad, making it very easy to consult. Additionally, the website (www.en.planiguide.ca) has been optimized to make it easier to browse using a smart phone, download the PDF version and consult other tax information of interest.

“The Tax Planning Guide also includes folders on Corporate Taxation and U.S. Federal Tax as well as New Developments at the beginning of each section. It also includes tax information for other provinces. We have one goal: help you plan and file your taxes,” Lacombe concluded.
