Ghyslain Cadieux

On April 15, 2014, Ghyslain Cadieux, Senior Manager of the Strategic and Performance Consulting Group from the Montréal office, gave a lecture entitled “Master your production cost” in front of about 60 producer-processors. This event, organized by the Financière agricole du Québec, was meant to be an opportunity to exchange words and learn more as to challenges which producer-processors are facing, in order to better define services from which their clients should benefit.

By attending the lectures, producer-processors also had the chance to listen to testimonies of colleagues from, amongst others, the breeding, cheese and alcoholic beverages industries.

Congratulations to Ghyslain Cadieux for his performance and contribution to the outreach of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton.

Our arts and entertainment specialists, Alain Lacasse, Assurance Partner, and Éric Julien, Tax Partner, both with the Montreal office, participated actively for the third consecutive year in the MIPTV, one of the biggest international television and audiovisual production markets in the world, held in Cannes, France.

On that occasion, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, in partnership with National Bank of Canada, organized a very successful networking event, which drew over a hundred people. The previous day, our firm, National Bank of Canada and Fonds Capital Culture jointly sponsored another event organized by Société de développement des entreprises culturelles. These activities were the opportunity for professionals and entrepreneurs from the industry to exchange ideas, develop or tighten their business relationships, and generate very positive spinoffs.

MIPTV, which brings together over a thousand audiovisual and television professionals from all over the world every year, has seen a strong increase in the Québec presence. This year, the Québec space at MIPTV 2014 included 34 of the leading companies in the field in Québec.

Congratulations to our experts for this successful event and for this great opportunity to show our firm’s support for the development of Québec cultural enterprises.
