In a September 20 article in Journal Les affaires, Luc Lacombe, Tax Partner at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, advises companies on the retirement plan to adopt for their employees.

Since, July 1, 2014, Quebec has begun the gradual implementation of voluntary retirement savings plans (VRSP). Ultimately, businesses with at least five employees who do not offer any other type of savings plan will have the VRSP imposed on them. Before the deadline, there is still time for entrepreneurs to analyze the options available to them and determine the plan most appropriate to their situation.

On September 9th was held the 83rd varnishing day hosted by Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton in Sherbrooke. Under the honorary presidency of Mr. Daniel Beaucage, CEO of Groupe Beaucage and Grand Estrien 2014, the event allowed members of the arts and business communities to discuss the work of the artists.

Until December 20th, the works of painters Suzanne Déry and Michel Raymond and the sculptor Joanne Savage will be in the spotlight at the offices of Sherbrooke, located at 455 King Street West.

For more than 25 years, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton has been increasing the standing of Eastern Townships’ visual artists with exhibitions in its premises. During these years, 226 different artists had the opportunity to make their names with this beautiful showcase.

Mr. Claude Métras, head of the exhibitions for the firm, tells us the importance of this exhibition and presents the artists in this video (in French).
