Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Contributes to Making a Difference for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada and Breaks a Record!
The Light the Night Walk took place on October 13 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, a key event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton was on hand to support the cause and succeeded in surpassing its goal.
“I am very proud of our team and I’d like to thank everyone who participated in the walk or made a donation”, stated Emilio B. Imbriglio, President and CEO of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton and honorary co-chair of the event.
Over 7,000 people were on site and raised a record-breaking $1.3M.
Funds raised during the Light the Night Walk will truly move the needle on research and support for patients in our communities. Certain types of blood cancers went from less than 20% survival rate in the 2000’s to over 90% today.
