For this very special occasion, Lynda Coache (centre) was accompanied by several members of the Women of Talent committee from Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton – Montreal. Several of them posed for a group photo: Marie-Ève Carignan, director of communications for the Montreal region, and partners Édith Pion, Louise Martel and Sophie Bureau.

A Woman of Talent who has earned her stripes

This is not the first honour to come Lynda’s way: she earned her FCA title in 2012 and, in 2011, won the Recognition Award – CA in Public Practice, two prestigious distinctions granted by the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec to people who have contributed to the good standing of the accounting profession. Congratulations!

50th anniversary of the Beauce offices

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton has been present for 50 years in the Beauce region, during which our firm committed to hundreds of clients and tens of regional organizations. Thanks to our six offices located in the cities of Beauceville, Saint-Ephrem, Saint-Georges, Saint-Joseph, Sainte-Justine and Sainte-Marie, we have always been at the heart of the region’s economic activity and we carried on playing an important assistance role for the development of enterprises and organisations in the region.

As the partner in charge of the Beauce region, I am proud of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s leader position within the business community. Our firm stands out because of the large range of services it offers to regional entrepreneurs. Our implication also translates into our association with chambers of commerce, the Conseil économique de Beauce and other organizations, as well as the commitment of some of our professionals who are on various boards of directors.

I want to thank our loyal clients who, all these years, elected us as their experts and continued to trust us. I also salute the efforts of our team, composed of about 70 professionals, thanks to whom we are able to maintain the quality of our professional services and our reputation as a leader in the province of Quebec, as the first major accounting firm offering assurance, taxation and strategic consulting services.

The year 2016 will be a year of celebration, because we are committed to highlight the 50 years of history that made our firm what it is today. Throughout the year, various recognition events will be organized and we will enhance some partnerships with long-term allies. Furthermore, to show our appreciation to those who contributed to our success in a more personal way, we plan for each of our offices a celebration or a nod dedicated to our regional clients and partners.

We would like to summarize these years of history by presenting you a series of texts that will allow you to learn more about the implication of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton in the Beauce region from the point of view of different stakeholders, such as our partners, consulting partners, employees, clients and business partners.

The first one will highlight the encounter of emerging and experienced professionals. It will consist in an interview that will allow you to find out about the prolific career and flawless commitment of Mr. Claude Cliche, an ambassador of our firm in Beauce.

The partners of the Beauce region join me in inviting you to follow us during this anniversary year and to celebrate with us.
