Lynda CoacheLynda Coache, Assurance Partner at the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu office, was named Business Personality of the Year at the 50th edition of the Excellence Gala of Chambre de commerce du Haut-Richelieu. The Gala was held on April 25.

Speaking to nearly 500 guests, Claude Demers, Executive Director of the Chambre de commerce, and Pierre St-Onge, the organization’s President, highlighted the excellence of Ms. Coache’s work with the region’s businesses over a span of nearly 25 years. The award was presented by the Paquette brothers of Groupe Paquette, the 2013 recipients.

An award dedicated to her family, friends and colleagues

Visibly moved by this honour, the award winner used her time on stage to thank her team at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu entrepreneurs who “opened their hearts and their companies’ doors” to her, and her father, who had told her that work would take her a long way in life.

A few minutes before the award was presented, the Chambre de commerce showed a video tracing Ms. Coache’s life and bringing together touching testimonials from her family, personal friends, team members and mentor. It was a very emotional moment for our winner, who never misses an opportunity to remind them of their immense contribution to her success.

Passion and hard work: Lynda’s formula

For Lynda Coache, this award attests to a lifetime achievement: “I had a dream when I was 29, when I founded my accounting firm in Napierville,” she explained. “This dream became a reality, and this evening, I am fulfilling another dream. When I first started, I never would have believed that I would be here receiving the title of Haut-Richelieu Business Personality of the Year. ”
Lynda explained her success by hard work, the support of her family, friends and colleagues, and the passion that has driven her from the beginning: “When you do things passionately, regardless of what you do, regardless of your gender, you will be recognized. My professional order has recognized me, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton has recognized me, and so has the business community. All that was missing was recognition from the Saint-Jean business community. ”

Congratulations to Lynda Coache for her excellent work, which has earned her this honourable nomination and which showcases the excellence and passion of the experts who work at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton!
