The team of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton took up for a 28th consecutive year the Défi à l’entreprise which was held last Saturday, November 15 for the benefit of the sports teams of the Cégep de Sherbrooke. This makes Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton the team with the longest history of participation in the activity that was launched 28 years ago.
With 10 employees and partners from the Eastern Townships, the RCGT team ranked 19th out of 29 participating teams this year. It is with exemplary enthusiasm, tenacity and sportsmanship that the team has participated in the six unusual sporting events, inspired by the everyday life of the Cégep de Sherbrooke’s athletes.
This year’s team consisted of the recruits Maria Agustina Jalo, Justine Bonin, Marie-Josée Demers, Antoine Dessureault, Maxime Laplante, Stacey Loomis, Simon Mercier and Sacha Simard, as well as the veteran Maxime Nadeau, under the direction of the Manager Denis Poirier and Captain Normand Houle.
Congratulations to all for your participation!
About the Défi à l’entreprise
In addition to promoting physical activity and fostering cooperation, this event raises funds to support the twelve teams of the Volontaires of the Cégep de Sherbrooke, especially to cover the travel costs as part of the many events in which they take part each year. The athletes proudly wear the colors of the Cégep and have become known in eight sports: volleyball, basketball, soccer, swimming, badminton, football, cross-country and cheerleading.
