On November 1, 2010, our business partner and entrepreneurial supporter SAJE, held the second Cercle des Lauréats on accounting issues in collaboration with the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal.
This lunch-and-learn event provided young entrepreneurs with an opportunity to consult professionals about many of their concerns. All of them had asked that accounting experts be on hand to clarify a number of points about this often little-known subject.
Martin Lemay, Assurance Partner, Belkacem Berredjem, Tax Manager, and Éléane Côté, R&D Senior Manager answered the call and responded to the questions raised by the young entrepreneurs. Our experts struck the right chord with some SME managers when they informed them of their eligibility for some extensive tax credits.
Events such as these bring to light the significant needs of certain SME managers and their lack of tax and management knowledge. By assisting them with advance tax planning, we helped them achieve attractive savings, and our involvement made a few of them very happy (you could even say they were over the moon)!
Thanks to our Montréal office professionals who contributed to this successful event!
