Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s Management Consulting Group has once again demonstrated the extent of its expertise during conventions held by the Association des établissements de réadaptation en déficience physique du Québec and the Association des centres jeunesse du Québec.

Congrès québécois de réadaptation

First, on October 25, during the 2012 Congrès québécois de réadaptation, Jonathan Perrier and Sophie Desgagnés, both Management Consulting Group experts, gave a conference on how measurement and optimization can lead to clinical innovation. They explained how to face service demand growth with limited professional resources. Undertaking an optimization procedure often proves to be promising in terms of sustainable solutions to the issues experienced in practice.

Congrès de l’Association des centres jeunesse du Québec

Secondly, on October 29, 30 and 31, 2012, our team also took part in the biennial convention of the Association des centres jeunesse du Québec and a one-day seminar held by the Réseau universitaire intégré jeunesse (RUIJ) with over 1,000 conventioneers. As part of the Troubled Youth program, five of our experts had the opportunity to showcase their expertise to an audience of social services managers.

Consulting Services Manager Jocelyn Théoret, aptly co-led a workshop with the Centres jeunesse de Lanaudière’s Chantal Talbot on the client experience entitled, “L’expérience client : se mobiliser pour le bien-être du jeune et de sa famille” (“The Client Experience: Getting Mobilized for the Well-being of Youth and Their Families”).

For his part, Consulting Services Manager Marc Hyndman co-led a workshop with Luc Cadieux of the Centres jeunesse de l’Outaouais, France Trépanier of the Centre jeunesse des Laurentides and Pierre Cloutier of the Centre jeunesse de Chaudière-Appalaches. Based on the theme of succeeding in strategic planning, (Réussir sa planification stratégique), the workshop explained how sound strategic planning can drive an organization, mobilize personnel, increase consistency of action, optimize resource use and enhance brand image.

Moreover, Sylvain Lemieux, Senior Manager, Consulting Services, co-led a workshop that summarized the new performance analysis method of the Troubled Youth program. Sylvain was accompanied by Nico Trocmé and Tonino Esposito of McGill University, Manon Léonard of the Centre jeunesse des Laurentides and Chloé Gaumont of the Association des centres jeunesse du Québec.

In other respects, during a poster session, Richard Gascon, Partner, and Josée Dupuis, Consulting Services Manager, presented our distinctive approach for the optimization of administrative and support services, which is perfectly adapted to youth centres.

Lastly, Sylvain Lemieux and Marc Hyndman presented a new overall performance evaluation methodology to an audience of experts associated with two major integrated university youth research networks based in Montréal and Québec City. In this segment, our work elicited considerable interest from university researchers.

These are yet more examples of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s expertise and of our health and social services experts.
