It highlights well thought out business planning processes for the growth of an enterprise over time, which could imply different strategies, in particular: the development of new markets or niches; an upturn in growth due to a new product or business strategy; the adoption of innovative distribution channels; the efficient realization of a merger or acquisition; etc.
