During the congress of the Conseil de la transformation agroalimentaire et des produits de consommation (CTAC), held in Charlevoix at the end of March, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton organized a beer and cheese tasting event that filled the hall.
Over 85 people from the food and beverage industry attended and were able to meet our five industry experts : Guy Barthell, Jean-Daniel Brisson, Ghyslain Cadieux respectively Partner, Lead Senior Manager and Senior Manager, Strategy and Performance at the Montreal office, Gilles Fortin, Lead Senior Manager, Corporate Finance (Quebec City) and Simon Valiquette, Senior Manager, Assurance (Montreal).
A Hunger for Growth: Food and Beverage Looks to the Future
La Microbrasserie Charlevoix provided the animation by presenting a selection of beers, accompanied by cheeses from the region. A tasting box door prize was drawn. The participants also left with a copy of the latest report on the food and beverage sector published by Grant Thornton International Ltd, entitled “A Hunger for Growth: Food and Beverage Looks to the Future“. The Quebec section of this report was produced by Guy Barthell and his team. It depicts the industry’s dominant trends for the years ahead and has received frequent media coverage.
