SAINT-ÉPHREM-DE-BEAUCE, May 19, 2016 – On May 15, 2016, a breakfast was held at the Centre multifonctionnel de Saint-Éphrem where over 125 clients and collaborators joined Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton employees and partners in kicking off festivities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the firm’s presence in Beauce.

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s arrival in Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce is the result of the foundation of Latulippe Cliche Bourque Gilbert et Rodrigue in 1977 which, following various mergers, joined Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (Raymond Chabot Martin Paré at the time) in 1986. The firm took advantage of the breakfast event to highlight the exceptional contribution of two of its Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce ambassadors, Claude Rodrigue and Anne Boucher, by presenting them with a commemorative plaque.

This is the first in a series of upcoming activities to thank the clientele in each area where Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is present in Beauce.

“With six offices located in Beauceville, Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce, Saint-Georges, Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Sainte-Justine and Sainte-Marie, the firm is underscoring the importance it puts on the accessibility of its professionals and knowledge of the local market. This makes it possible for us to offer dynamic businesses of all sizes and from all industries the opportunity to achieve their full growth potential, here and in the world at large,” asserts Regional Vice-President, Mario Morin.

“During 50 years of activity in the Beauce region, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton employees and partners have assisted hundreds of local clients and dozens of local organizations by sharing their ideas and experience to help them find and implement concrete solutions which are perfectly aligned with their situation. The concept of attracting, retaining and inspiring our clientele and the business community is reflected in the services we offer, which we have adapted and diversified over the years. Because of this, we hold a leadership position in the fields of assurance, tax and advisory services,” adds Rémi Fortin, Partner in charge of the Beauce offices.

The event closed with thanks to the loyal clients of the Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce office who, throughout all these years, have chosen Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton as their expert and continue to place their trust in us, and to the over 70 dedicated employees in the Beauce offices’ team.

Two regional media sources reported on this kick-off activity; the website enbeauce.com and l’Éclaireur progrès, confirming the firm’s important role in the Beauce business community.

Other upcoming festivities

2016 will be a year of celebration for the Beauce offices, as it is very important for us to highlight the 50 years of history that have allowed our firm to become what it is today.
