Inauguration of the New Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Office
Montréal, February 23, 2012 – Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton held the official opening of its new Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu office before 150 guests. The event highlighted the Firm’s expansion on the South Shore and was an opportunity to thank Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton clients and business partners, the driving force behind this growth.
Lynda Coache, Partner in Charge of the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Napierville offices, emphasized the importance of this move: “We have our clients to thank for this move. My team and I constantly strive to provide them with best service possible, they have shown their trust in Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton over the years and I’d like to thank them for that.”
Also in attendance was Montréal Region Vice-President, Michel Noël, who thanked all of the clients and business partners who contributed to the Firm’s success in the Montérégie region: “I’m very proud of our Firm’s expansion. This move is the result of both substantial growth and the drive to better serve our clients on offices tailored to their needs. Our clients and business partners have been instrumental to this growth, thank you, each and every one. We have their interests at heart and will continue to meet their needs conscientiously and efficiently.”
The event provided an opportunity to recognize two members of the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu office who recently received very special awards: Yannick Marcotte, Senior Tax Manager, received the CA Émérite 2012 Award, next generation category, from the Montérégie CA Group; and Lynda Coache, was given the Recognition Award–CA in Public Practice and received the title of Fellow of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec (OCAQ). “Success cannot be achieved without a passionate and dynamic team. Community involvement, dedication and professionalism are essential values in our Firm and are clearly reflected in our Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu team’s work,” concluded Michel Noël. “They are the people who made it possible for Lynda and Yannick to stand out and receive these awards.
