View the Video to Discover Our Firm’s 50 Years of History in Beauce
03 Jun 2016
The year 1966 saw the start-up of two local accounting firms in Beauce, in Saint-Georges and Saint-Joseph. Twenty years later, after a series of mergers, the firm became Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, marking the start of a productive association founded on a common vision: support SMES in their growth.
And now, in 2016, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is able to celebrate 50 years of its presence in Beauce and highlight the exceptional contribution of some of the individuals who helped shape the firm we know today.
Our heartfelt congratulations to Nadia Paradis, Frédérick Richard and Vicky V. Var, from the Recovery & Reorganization Group, for obtaining their Trustee license from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada (OSB)!
Vicky V. Var
In Quebec, only 265 people hold a Trustee license from the OSB. This accomplishment is the much anticipated end result of not only numerous years of studying for the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional Qualification Program, but also of the successful completion of the national insolvency exam and oral exam the OSB holds once a year.
A unique force in Quebec
We are fortunate to have 52 trustees working for our firm, that is, close to three times more than any of our competitors! Another wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strength of our network!
