The Federal Government will no longer allow foreign charities to encourage donations by issuing charitable tax credit receipts. A total of 14 foreign charities are therefore deregistered.

Emilio Imbriglio Takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

Yesterday afternoon (August 25, 2014), Emilio B. Imbriglio, President and CEO of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, took the Ice Bucket Challenge in front of the 600 De La Gauchetière St. offices in Montréal! He had been challenged by Ed Nusbaum, President of Grant Thornton International, and by Christine Regimbal, a Montréal office Partner.

Emilio in turn challenged other colleagues, including Michel Noël, Partner and Vice-President of the Montréal region, Martin Deschênes, Partner and Chairman of the Firm’s Partnership Board and Jean Schnob, Partner and Vice-President of the Outaouais region.
