Congratulations to Véronique Denys, Tax Manager in the Québec City office, who has completed the unbelievable feat of scaling the “Seven Summits”. Véronique is the first woman from Quebec to successfully complete the challenge of climbing the tallest mountain peaks of each of the seven continents—the ultimate goal of the greatest mountaineers in the world.
You may recall that last May Véronique was only the third Quebec woman to conquer Everest, the tallest peak in the world (8,848 meters). Since then, she has climbed the Carstensz Pyramid in Oceania (4,884 meters) and, on November 26, 2011, completed her quest by reaching the summit of Vinson Massif in Antarctica (4,892 meters).
Kudos to Véronique Denys, a woman of outstanding determination and a source of inspiration for Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton employees and Partners alike!
