Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s Community Week ran from September 8 to 12, 2025.
More than 1,400 partners and employees signed up to support over 80 not-for-profit organizations across Québec and in the Ottawa and Edmundston regions.
The theme of this 4th edition of our Community Week was RCGT in the community, which was inspired by the international GT in the Community initiative, in which firms in Grant Thornton, our global organization with 76,000 professionals across close to 160 markets, participate.
A large number of generous colleagues rolled up their sleeves to support a range of organizations in their region and created a sense of pride and accomplishment throughout the firm. In addition to supporting organizations which have a tangible impact on our communities, this initiative allowed participants to step away from their desks and enjoy a rewarding and people-focused experience.
The firm’s advisors also participated in order to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. “Our employees took part in maintenance projects, helped onsite teams to provide services to their clientele, prepared meals, packed lunches for children and food baskets for those in need, and donated blood,” explained Nathalie Boyer, the firm’s Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer.
By taking the time to support various causes, the firm gives back to the communities in which it has operated for close to 80 years. “Our communities have trusted us for many years so it’s our duty to encourage them and go beyond corporate donations and sponsorships. Our volunteering support allows us to contribute in a meaningful and positive way to our society,” added Ms. Boyer.
