THETFORD MINES, May 11, 2016 – The Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Thetford Mines office team is proud to have welcomed some 200 participants, mainly women of talent, to discuss a woman’s perspective on entrepreneurship in the presence of an experienced, creative entrepreneur who has revolutionized the jewellery industry: Caroline Néron.
Gathered at the Club de golf et curling de Thetford, participants listened to the experiences of this ambitious, visionary woman who leveraged her entrepreneurial talent to innovate and foster the growth of her very dynamic business. “What a privilege to have heard Caroline Néron speak. A great leader in growth and an inspiration for all, Caroline is a seasoned manager who knows how to share her passion for business and inspire us to go further to attain our objectives and fulfill our dreams,” said Josée Larochelle, Tax Partner at the Thetford Mines office and Head of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s Women of Talent regional committee.
“It’s important to pass on the passion for business and talk about the different challenges we’ve encountered on our entrepreneurial journey. I encourage people to take chances and pursue their dreams. We need to stop thinking that failure is a negative thing and concentrate on solutions to better attain our objectives,” added Caroline Néron, accomplished business leader.
Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s Women of Talent initiative was created in 2013 and its main mission is to value and promote the role and responsibilities of women within the organization by relying on concrete actions that foster the development of communities. “We organize different activities with our colleagues and business women in the regions in which we are present. It’s clear that, in Thetford Mines, we will continue to plan similar activities, which enable women leaders to create ties, learn from another, and above all, draw inspiration from exceptional business women such as Caroline Néron,” concluded Josée.
