Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton acted as an exclusive financial advisor to Induspac Group.
Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Corporate Finance is proud to have supported Induspac Group (“Induspac”) on its financial partnership with a consortium of Québec investors led by Champlain Financial Corporation (“Champlain”), with participation from Fondaction, Desjardins Capital, and members of the management team.
Founded in 1973 and operating four facilities in Québec and Ontario, Induspac is a Canadian leader in the design and manufacturing of custom industrial packaging. The company provides a complete solution from design to delivery, covering engineering and production, and specializes in protective and industrial packaging using corrugated cardboard, foam, and wood.
This strategic partnership marks a key milestone in Induspac’s trajectory, positioning the company to accelerate its expansion and strengthen its presence across the Canadian market.
Following the transaction, Luc Guertin, former president and majority shareholder, will continue to serve as a strategic advisor to the company and management team, supporting the transition under the leadership of the new President Antoine Schiele‑Spain.
“We were fortunate to be able to count on the expertise of the RCGT team in this financial partnership. We were well supported from the outset and throughout the process. Their valuable advice enabled us to complete a transaction that met our objectives and values. Thank you to the entire RCGT mergers and acquisitions team!”, said Luc Guertin, president and majority shareholder at the time of the sale.
“We identified Induspac as a leader in its market and are very proud to partner with the management team and our institutional partners to build an undisputed leader in the Canadian market in the niche served by Induspac,” said André La Forge, Partner at Champlain Financial Corporation.
