LP Maurice is the CEO & Co-Founder of Busbud, an e-commerce start-up focused on intercity bus travel worldwide. Busbud was named one of the three most innovative companies in Canada by PwC in 2014. LP was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal in 2014 and Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Conseil du patronat in 2016.

Previously, LP worked in product management, marketing and business development at Yahoo and LinkedIn in Silicon Valley. LP holds an MBA from Harvard University, a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from the University of Montreal, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from HEC Montreal and has completed CFA level 1.

LP is active in the Montreal startup community as an angel investor, mentor and instigator of initiatives such as Startup Open House, La Tournée des Entrepreneurs and La Gare. LP was a finalist for Canadian “Mentor of the Year” in 2014 by Startup Canada, and has served as Vice-President for the HBS Club of Montreal and Harvard Club of Quebec. He has contributed articles to the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Financial Post, La Presse and Les Affaires.
