Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton and the Centre de transfert d’entreprise du Québec (CTEQ) announce the signing of a partnership agreement. This announcement is a further step in our common desire to promote and support entrepreneurship in all regions of Quebec.

This agreement will allow entrepreneurs who benefit from the firm’s services but who do not have a succession plan to be referred to the CTEQ, which has a large bank of entrepreneurs from all over Quebec. In return, the CTEQ will be able to redirect clients whose successors are already active in the company to the experts of a professional services firm.

This way, business people will be well supported in their management and ownership transfer process, either by family transfer or by management buy-out. Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton will also make available to CTEQ clients professional services in support of business transfers, such as business valuations and tax consulting.

VARS, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton’s Cybersecurity Division, is very proud to be the Fédération québécoise des municipalités’ (FQM) exclusive supplier, providing support through its service offering for securing internet-connected networks and protection against cyber threats.

As stated in the FQM’s news release announcing the new alliance, some 1,000 municipalities and RCMs that are members of the FQM can call upon VARS without having to undertake a call for tenders process.
