FINALIST 2019

Since 2011, President and CEO Paul Raymond has made Alithya, a company specializing in the design of digital solutions, significantly evolve.

Starting out as a business offering mainly personal loan services, it became a digital technology company providing services at the cutting edge of the latest developments.

A good leader must be a good communicator: it’s fine to have a vision, but if you can’t communicate it, it’s hard to get people on board.

It offers solutions like those from Oracle and Microsoft, and solutions using business analytics, artificial intelligence and automatic learning.

In the past eight years, Raymond has made it grow from 200 to 2,000 employees and sales jumped from $20M to $300M.

A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada in Computer Engineering and member of the Quebec Order of Engineers, Raymond is a strong advocate of social responsibility and is the President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Digital technologies, human technologies

For Paul Raymond, digital technologies can only be possible through the human who uses them. This is the reason humans are at the heart of Alithya, which cares about client satisfaction and employee well-being and respect.

Paul Raymond promotes the constant quest for creativity, both in his management and client approach. Always guided by human values, he advocates the respect, well-being, trust, passion and integrity of his teams.

Paul Raymond attaches great importance to the place of women in business. He was recently admitted to the select 30% Club, whose mission is to promote the place of women in senior management positions.
