For Omar Hamade, numbers are not only meant to measure performance—they are tools to understand situations, make informed judgments, and move forward.

A newly appointed Partner at RCGT, Omar specializes in business valuation, financial litigation, forensic accounting, and advisory services related to the purchase and sale of businesses.

His role involves analyzing complex situations, identifying the underlying financial issues, and explaining them clearly to those who must take a position, negotiate, or render a decision. He also serves as an expert witness before the courts.

Engagements That Require More Than Numbers

This type of practice places him at pivotal moments—such as business sales, commercial disputes, or separations. These are situations that clients may encounter only once in their lifetime, often accompanied by significant uncertainty and difficult questions.

In such cases, technical expertise is essential. But for Omar Hamade, it is not sufficient on its own. “Our role is not only to perform the analysis,” he explains. “It is also to clearly explain sometimes highly technical concepts so that clients, lawyers, or the courts can fully understand the issues at stake.”

Beyond technical skills, emotional intelligence is also a key component of the profession. “You need to quickly understand what is happening in the room—read the dynamics, recognize biases, and manage them professionally, objectively, and independently.”

A Specialization Developed Over Time

Omar Hamade began his career in audit and financial statement preparation. A particular engagement then changed his professional trajectory when a partner asked him to assist on a business valuation mandate. He immediately connected with the field. “That’s when I realized that once I obtained my CPA designation, this is what I wanted to do.”

He went on to specialize in this area, steadily expanding his expertise and contributing to the growth of the practice over the years. Gradually, his scope broadened to include business valuation, damage quantification, matrimonial litigation, transactions, and forensic accounting—building a practice that is both highly specialized and versatile.

A New Chapter at RCGT

Following the merger with PSB Boisjoli, Omar Hamade continues his practice at RCGT. Naturally, the transition required adapting to new systems and ways of working.

What stood out to him most, however, was the welcoming atmosphere and strong collaborative spirit.

“People were extremely welcoming and generous with their time to support the integration process.”

Today, Omar continues to support clients through sensitive matters where financial analysis must be both rigorous and practical. His role is to provide clarity and guidance at moments when decisions truly matter.

Growing the Team

For him, joining RCGT represents more than a change in organizational structure. It also creates new opportunities for his team of nearly eight professionals. He sees it as a chance to help them grow within a larger environment, alongside other areas of expertise and ways of working—while contributing to a firm where collaboration and quality are genuinely valued.

His vision for the future is clear: to see his team grow, succeed, and continue making its mark in the field. “What brings me the greatest satisfaction,” he says, “is when clients recognize the quality of the work delivered by members of my team.” Their success, ultimately, is his own.
